Platinum Daytona - with or without Baguettes?

I have never liked any watches with diamonds before, but for some reason I have come to really love the platinum Daytona with the baguette dial. And I prefer it much more to the non-diamond model.

Which dial variation do you prefer?

Although I am not the biggest fan of any diamonds on a dial...I saw one in person and it really works. I say with.

I prefer the contrast of the brown subdials

I get it though … one of the few models that looks the part with diamonds

Some pics for comparison. I definitely vote for the baguettes.

are the ice blue dials on the diamond one the same color as non diamond?
I have never seen them side by side in person but in pic, sometimes they look same other times different/

Platinum Daytona - with or without Baguettes?

Diamonds on an ice blue dial platinum watch are like peanut butter and jelly.

Have seen the diamond dial ,but not the brown sub dial version yet. Will reserve comments for now.

For a Plat Daytona,I would take any of the two .Its scarce.

On this model the discrete almost imperceptible use of baguettes creates subtle harmony to the overall dial configuration. Its one of the few if not the only non garish diamond bezel Rolex’s.

True class

Platinum Daytona - with or without Baguettes?

I wanted baguettes with motif on my DD40 but that's not an option so I took motif with lume. I dont' know which way I would have gone if I had the option of the baguettes and normal Ice Blue vs Ice Blue Motif...

I’d go baguette for the Daytona.

I’m not a big fan of diamond dials, but would have to think long and had about this one.

11/10.

Any suggestions for a different bezel colour?
