I am not bashing the Pelagos because I love the watches. But have had one entire bezel fall apart while standing in my kitchen. Didn’t knock it or anything. I believe due to being in ocean a few hours prior. And had another Pelagos within past year where a lume market fell out.
In both occurrences rolex replaced for free. I say I love the Pelagos but bezel is weak point. Lume markers and jamming after salt water. |

I am pretty sure rolex fixed the failing lume markers in the FXD. It seems the plots are painted on rather than voided spaces within the bezel with markers inserted.
I still have one regular Pelagos and an FXD. |

Glad to see someone else’s bracelet look as beat up as mine. I’ve taken a few diggers in my BB58. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I own or have owned all of the Pelagos watches except the 39. I have found them robust and a pleasure to wear. I do not believe the watches are indestructible though. Depending on wear and what you may hit them on the bezel is obviously a point of concern.

So frustrating, especially when the pelagos feels like such a tool. Haven’t had issues is the 4+ years I’ve had mine but have seen a few of these threads…

Ouch! How did that happen? About the only thing I took this Pelagos off for during the first years was reaching into engine bays. It was literally my only watch. I’m much nicer to it now, lots of G Shock and Apple Watch time during rough activities, that is why I am so disappointed this time. The first replacement was well deserved
