Not much of a post but….

… it makes me really happy when I read people describing their excitement about their “incoming” watches. It’s wonderful to see watches being acquired by people who will wear, love, use, feel good and treasure them.

There’s so many bad news and division in the world these days and this forum provides me with a little escape valve and happiness boost when I read people beaming about their purchases and their wonderful photographs.

Told you, not much of a post!!

i have to agree Alex, i like incoming threads as well!

it’s been more than a couple years since i got my last reference so i get live vicariously through other member’s purchases (and it’s free!).

Very good thread, I love incoming posts.

I don't enjoy slow reveal posts though, if someones just got a new watch, I am excited to see it with them. I have seen some reveals take hours and hours and I lose interest.

That is just me though and fully accept that it may add to others enjoyment.

I agree... I get very excited, in a vicarious way, when someone appropriately describes their joy for a new piece.

then I realize, it wasn't me getting the piece that I might have been waiting for for the last few YEARS... 'so you're sayin there's a chance'
