The mistake the State made was going to trial without the murder weapon or the bloody clothing and being unable to account for the lack thereof. If you recall from the testimony the killer would have had a lot of blood on the clothing. The only evidence tying OJ to the scene was the drop of blood in the trunk of the Bronco. The dog barking occurred after 10:30 suggested Goldman was killed at the time which would not have given OJ enough time to be at home when he was. I was not surprised at all by the verdict. I am not saying he was not guilty but the evidence or lack thereof, was enough to raise reasonable doubts.

I have to honest though…I’m old enough to remember watching him on TV. He might not have the stats to back it up, but he was the most impressive and dominating running bank I ever saw play in the NFL.

There was no mistake about it. OJ could have stood in front of that jury and confessed to each and every one of them and they still would have acquitted him. The case was lost as soon as they moved it from where the murder happened to downtown Los Angeles.
