Explorer II White Dial vs DateJust White Dial
I'd really like a white dial, and I love the matted finish on the DateJust. But I've already got a Wimbledon. Is the white dial on the Explorer II the exact same matted/lacquered finish as the DateJust?

Not quite sure which Generation EXP II we're talking, but both have gloss lacquered dials.

I don’t believe Datejust dial is matte. Mine is gloss.
Really different watches, however you can’t go wrong with either. Both awesome. I love my white dial DJ.

White dial DJ is on my short list. I think it looks great. I'm leaning towards a rose/steel white dial. Looks like a great combination.

The Polar Explorer II is a great watch. I like it better than any DJ.

The biggest difference to my old eyes is the hands, not the dial. The Explorer II hands are outlined in black, making the watch eminently readable with just a glance. The gold hands on the Datejust, conversely, do not contrast as much with the dial. I find the Explorer II is significantly easier to actually tell time on.

The EXP 2 dial is a white lacquered finish with Matt black outlines on the hands and markers.

I'd vote Exp 2 white dial a beautiful tool watch.

I have a white dial TT DJ41 and a Explorer II Polar. I prefer the Explorer II and it gets way more wrist time.

Exp II all the way. The white dial really pops with great contrast between the black surrounds on the markers and brilliant orange hand.
