Put my first ever FF on a tropical strap. what a great watch. Its a 2006... the lume is not as strong as it once was. Was my daily and only for 9 years. So far serviced twice - movement is great, but being so ultra thin not the most durable for a true sports watch. Last servicing was about 9 years ago, watch is running 10-15 seconds per day slow so nothing crazy. The antireflective coating is amazing, gives it a blue hue from some angles. Downside is that it is applied on the top so i have some minor scretches on it - making it look like the saphire is scretched a bit.

The crown action is so smooth, gentle and refined, complete opposite to my RO 15500. AP crown refinement is worse than Rolex (Batman) imo. The new 70th Act 1 FF also has an incredibly smooth crown.

Trying to find the trilogy FF or GMT in yellow/rose gold perpetual calendar version now. They pop up once in a while. Also debating rose gold aqualung grand date.

I'll tell ya....

Choosing between a SeaQ and a FF is like choosing which 80's supermodel to go home with. Both are superlative divers, but the bezel on the FF is second to none.

Great pics everyone, I wish I had a Blancpain to photograph. Maybe someday.
