Is Jomashop 100% legit?

Does Jomashop sell ONLY 100% authentic watches?
Thanks for the input!

Yes, as far as I know it's a 100% legit gray-market seller.

yes I have bought a few watches from them no issues at all. Only thing is they take the manufacturers warranty and offer their own. I have had no issues since none of my pieces have had warranty probs.

Good luck!

Legit. But give their own warranty.

before I found this place and DavidSW, I bought from them a few times.

I have nothing but positive things to report. They are very competitive and their service is outstanding. And their watches are 100%.

Anyone had experience with both Jomashop and Alan Furman and could shed some light on the difference in their experience?

Thank you all for the input.
A friend of mine saw a watch on their site and isn't really concerned about the in house only warranty!

I've bought two watches from jomashop - a Seiko SKX (which I'm wearing now) and a Hamilton. Both are good, ordering/shipping was easy. I'd order from them again.

Be aware that Jomashop currently only warrants Rolex for 2 years versus the five year manufacturer's warranty. This is as of today according to their website.

I've bought from them a number of times but all lower price watches. Never had any problems and even did a return on one watch and it was a flawless process. Never bought a Rolex from them though.

Because you are new to TRF you may not realize the place to post this warning is in the WatchOut!!! Section. Especially because you claimed a fake watch was received.

I see you also started another thread in this section with the same claim. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=607902

IMHO, you should ask the Mods to move that new thread to WatchOut!!! and support your claim by attaching some good sharp pictures in that thread. A copy of your online order would help, too. Just redact any of your personal data that you don’t want to show.

Too early to know what brand he bought. If an off-brand than Jomashop could have been hoodwinked perhaps.

Not saying it’s their practice to ship fakes but it might happen by accident.

I've received two watches from them (an Omega Speedmaster 3750.50 and an IWC Miramar Pilot Chrono). Both watches were legit; they're a real retailer. I've had two other potential orders fail and have sworn off them.

The problems with Jomashop are two-fold:

1. Their warranty is worthless. If something is wrong with your watch, you don't want to send it back to Jomashop for their in-house morons to tinker around inside it.

2. Some of their policies are awful and customer service in my experience frequently tells you the wrong thing or are difficult to deal with.

One of my favourites to remember is when I ordered a watch listed as in stock, they charged me credit card the full amount, a week later refunded it and said it was not in stock and now on order with an INDEFINITE timeframe, and that when it arrived no one from Jomashop would be able notify me, they would simply re-charge my credit card and immediately ship it. NINE months later, this order was still active from their point of view, and they were completely fine with this sword of Damocles arrangement.

My recommendation to others: I would only really consider them for cheaper watches.

You can avoid this by calling them or emailing them before you purchase... They are pretty much "flippers" and buy watches from the general public as well.

They are legit, I'm not sure I would buy anything too expensive from them as I'd prefer to go the AD or trusted seller route. Also, you need to make sure they actually have the watch, sometimes they act as a broker so they end up sourcing the watch which can delay the process.
