Crown sequence

I have a SD4000. I was curious if you can position the crown to the date function after having it in the time function. Everytime I push the crown in after setting the time it goes back to the winding position. Maybe I dont have the touch or its the standard operation.

It is one stem trying to multi-function.

The issue when pushing in is that you are now collapsing the spring in the crown. This means that if the stem is well oiled and moving freely, a small push starts it moving, but the spring gives it a little extra kick.

It's easier to get used to simply pushing it in, then pulling it back out where you want it. No sense making yourself batty.

Yep! I’ve not found a better way than this.
