New Incoming - Its Big!

Literally!

Been debating between the 126600 and the 126660 D-BLUE but decided to pull the trigger on the Dblue. I figured I have too many black dial Rolex watches so this Dblue dial would be a nice touch.

Just like everyone, I had trouble finding this watch at my local authorized dealers. I travel a lot for work and couldn't find this watch anywhere. Then after months of waiting for a call I decided to go grey and luckily found someone in LA that had one and it still had all the stickers on the watch. The watch was literally brand new. Booked my flight and flew out to pick up this watch in person.

Boy was I right! This dial is stunning in person. I love how it changes colors depending on how the light hits it. I am also impressed by the wider bracelet and shorter end links. It fits much better on the wrist compared to the older model, which I had but recently sold it, which was top heavy. This watch is definitely heavier than the 116660, due to the wider bracelet.

The 3235 movement is amazing and you really don't appreciate the 70hr power reserve until you put the watch away on a Friday and it is still running when it pick it back up on a Monday. So far the movement is dead on!

I had some spare time before my flight back so decided to go by Beverly Hills Rolex and told him how I just bought this watch after struggling to find it through an authorized dealer. The sales guy was kind enough to size the bracelet for me and put me on the list for some of the other watches I am after. Not holding my breath but it was a pleasant experience.

Well long story short, this watch is simply stunning and I am so glad I was able to find one in just perfect condition.

On to the pictures of this beast!
