Of course different times. However in those days I bought a no date sub and a TT GMT and bigger discounts were available from my AD on the Hulk than any of those!

I have the starbucks. I prefer the case shape, newer movement and most importantly the black dial. Just more classic imho.

Hulk no contest……. Cermit is a weak replacement and not in the same category…..one of the reason the hulk is skyrocketing in value

What if Rolex reintroduced a new all Green dial and bezel this year? Oh the mayhem!

I’m going 126610 between the two. I’ve always liked the green Sub variant, but I fell it was never completely right until this latest variant.

Why do ppl talk about dial not matching bezel? In what world do any sunburnt dials match the bezel??? Lol what a joke

I'll take the Kermit or Starbuck. Although I like the look of the Hulk, it is a watch that is a little too over the top for regular wear.

Agree with others... ADs couldnt give away Hulks when they were in production. If/when the current starbucks gets discontinued, imagine the people who aren't fans now possibly might change tune.
If I could get my hands on an unworn 2020 Hulk with the new warranty card, think I would lock that one in a safe for a while. The current starbucks are excellent pieces- watch the secondary market get crazy(even more than they are now) on these in the next 12 months.

Aluminum bezels on the 5-digits shine in a manner similar to sunburst dials. Had the 116 been a flat green like the WG 116619 it would have been a better watch IMO.

Starbucks or Hulk ? and why?

If a part of a larger collection or as a safe queen, I would prefer the Hulk.

If as a daily wearer, the new Kermit.

Unfortunately, most only see these watches on the net but don’t have a chance to witness/wear in real life. In real life the Hulk can be a bit too much. Almost like it’s trying too hard. Where’s the new Kermit is classically beautiful (as all new Subs are) but with that emerald green accent/pop that gives a “Je ne sais quoi.”

Both are spectacular pieces … one a little more in your face and the other more subdued with a pop to it. As I started this post, my preference would be based on how I would use it.

Here is my daily wearer:

For me the new Kermit really is a the perfect LV. Not to much green and the lugs and balanced new bracelet is the best ever.

I have Hulk since 2013, beautiful watch and my first Rolex. Sturbucks is a stunning thing too, but three is no reason to replace Hulk or add it to collection

Both cool watches but I prefer the Hulk. If going green why not just go all green. Plus discontinued and will be harder to get in the future.

As someone who owns both I'd go Cermit if I had to choose.

I bought the Hulk years ago and quickly realised that I didn't really like it in some lighting conditions. Too bright. Tacky, even. I felt a little self-conscious in it.
It doesn't really feel like it's part of the Submariner lineage or, if it does, it's that flamboyant cousin who is the life and soul of the Christmas party but, when he leaves, you are glad you don't see him every week.

It went into the bank for when my son is old enough to use it (he loves it).

The Cermit, on the other hand, is one of my favourite watches and gets a ton a wear. Feels like a Sub'. Splash of colour. What's not to like?

I think starbucks is a better looking watch. However, I feel like there is something "franken" about it because it is basicly a sub date with a green bezel. Thus I prefer the hulk.

What??? It’s SUPPOSED to be a sub date with a green bezel.

The 116610LV (green-bezel sub date) is to the 116610 (black-bezel SUB DATE) what the old 16610LV was to the 16610. (And, for that matter, the brand new 126610LV has the same relationship to its analogous 126610LN.)

Did you think that the Hulk was supposed to be something more than a slightly different version of the black-bezel one?

Hulk is skyrocketing in value because it’s out of production. I love both watches, for what it’s worth.

Hulk. The bright colors somehow work well with the broad shoulders of the maxi case.

The popularity of a Rolex watch is not related to its technical specs but to its looks, uniqueness, and rarity...
