Stunner. Curious how you got it so quickly? I put a deposit on the 3 hander the day after it was announced. I’m told it won’t arrive until Oct/Nov.

The chrono seems to be pretty available. Might wait a few weeks. Just had to call a few dealers and found one same day.

Does anyone here have experience with the Toric line? Specifically the Chronometre.

I知 tossing around the idea of an early one or the modern one.

They make attractive watches. I also like their veal, chicken and eggplant.

I bet you'd never guess this - since you went out of your way to write the above - but you're the first person in the history of the world to ever make this joke. And wow - the originality! Bravo.

Well, he was the first to use it in this thread, so he gets half credit.

Yes, one (two?) have been floating around at $22.5k for a couple of weeks now. I believe one is currently pending.

Guys it痴 hard to sell a Journe or a Patek right now. I致e sold a parmgiani and it痴 not fun. There痴 just a very limited market for them. I think I ended up trading my PF for 17k in trade value.

I知 playing a similar waiting game with the Minute Rattrapante. Might regret waiting, we値l see. But things do seem cool on the PF aftermarket, presenting amazing opportunities.

If all goes well I値l go hands on with a first generation Toric in a few weeks. The market for them is very limited, both in supply and demand. But they seem to be sculptural and elegant neovintage pieces with phenomenal finishing.

All of their older models trade low, and some if the newer ones are taking a hit on the secondary

This doesn't hold true for the earliest Torics, though, right? The Memory Time and Automatic move for $20-30k, afaik.

Yeah the Automatic low 20s. Memory Time slightly higher. They are softening a bit but that痴 in line with what you could expect.
