Incoming.......

Don’t get too excited it’s not a watch but a new member so good evening to you all from the UK.

I have been reading the forum since getting the bug last year and have picked up three pieces for myself and one for the wife. We have both become enthusiasts ever since.

I had to join today when I saw older posts that related to WIS-CON in LV which looked unreal! I know this years been cancelled for obvious reasons but do you plan on repeating in 2021 and can anyway join as long as they pay their way?

Thanks for the warm welcome, I will head over to that part then!

Yes I have DJ Wimbledon and a 2020 hulk. The CHNR came in just before the AD closed due to covid-19, I did get a call for it before Christmas when I was in Florida visiting friends in Vero Beach and doing some travelling but because of the time difference missed the call. My wife woke up to feed our son and called them back 15 mins later and it was gone! Luckily they kept me in mind and called me again a few weeks ago.

Il post a picture if somebody tells me how to attach an image from a mobile!l, keeps saying the size is too large and can’t be resized automatically!

Wife wanted a classic DJ with champagne dial and diamonds so ended up getting the WoS limited edition run which she picked number 17 of 100.

Welcome, I’m just over the water in Essex. Who is your AD? Mappin and Webb in bluewater I guess?

Get the tapatalk app - it is a breeze to post pictures - it also has the benefit of being free and by far the easiest way to access the forum on a phone.

And welcome - I am waiting on a CHNR!

No I’m actually using Goldsmiths in Canterbury as my AD, my friend uses Bluewater and has bought several watches from them, he has quite a collection, and even i have been getting more watches than him lately so he has been less than impressed.

I did say I’d bring him to my AD but I know they like to do business with people from the area.

Welcome. I was going to say too "how the hell did you get an incoming (from an AD anyway) in the middle of all this" lol.

A huge welcome and welcome to the forum a place full of knowledge, enthusiasm for horology and even madness at times.

It's a great place nevertheless.

Welcome! The next on hasn't had a formal cancellation and is scheduled for May 22 through the 25th. It's worth the trip over for sure.

Rebecca Roanhorse is quite a storyteller and is sure to have people on the edge of their seats, so don't miss her!
