But still, my vote goes to the 15202. This is a picture I took in my humble little studio. The watch is from a friend.

This is my ultimate RO. I´m going to own one soon, I hope. The new 15202 is nice to, but the black datewindow is really a deal breaker for me.(Why did they do that????) However, I don´t really mind, because the old 15202 is just PERFECT!

I am a 5402 purist but IMHO the black calendar wheel is very classy. I really love it. How come you don't?

I agree. The black datewheel just looks so out of place. Don't like it at all.

I think the 15400 is a bit out of proportion. The datewindow is too far to the middle. But what annoys me most is how small the calibre looks in the big caseback. It does'nt look ok to me.

I think the 39mm size of the 15300 works just fine for me. But such is life. Just like many others their feeling the pressure to go larger.

Eventually maybe in the next version they'll address the movement size issues.

Dan, I think the beauty of the 15300 and the 15202 is that they remain at 39mm just like the original 5402 launched in 1972. I really don't foresee a big success coming from Audemars purists like myself with the 15400 at 41mm. To be honest, the 39mm is the perfect watch size and AP got it right 40 years ago. I won't let my 5402SA or my 15300ST ever leave my hands!!!

Now you are talking Mike. The moment I can grab a 5402ST at a decent price, a few pieces from the collection will be long gone!!!

The PP 5167 has a little bit of the same thing. However it's not that noticeable and not that bad, or maybe it's just my old eyes.

Quick question, x2..

Rubber strap option for a 15300?? Possible now?

I heard you could but needed like WG plots or something from an LE, since they didn't make them in SS?

The rubber strap for the ROC would fit the 15300, All you need is the WG plots and deployment/tang or aftermarket conversion kit.

Are you sure? I was told it wouldn't fit.

There are no rubber straps that'll fit the 15300.

Got a indication from my PP dealer that a pricehike is expected soon.
