Don’t know what the jury thinks about OP’s especially when no one was interested in the earlier versions (non-41’s) Not so long ago. Now they’ve doubled in price outside of AD reaching and exceeding prices of the famous Subs and Sea-Dweller, everyone’s interested. Allegation is, interest is based on dealer-attributed value and speculation which is not sustainable. The green is the better and subdued look while Rolex uses green as an anniversary statement - the green shouldn’t be used for ‘anything’ imo. All the colours considered, will the jury think OP’s have a toy-like appeal. I mean, circa 9000 quid for an OP - green, Tiffany blue or otherwise. Most will not make it down the line though the Tiffany has history with Rolex and probably will have legs together with the green and pink. I like the flat green and the watches are comfortable. Nuff said.

The OP range was greatly improved in 2020. New case, new movement, new crystal, new bracelet. The dials aren’t much of a change. I preferred the single baton to double baton but I do think it makes the time more legible. It’s the same as having a 3-6-9 marker. All around best watch Rolex makes and simultaneously the least expensive. Hard to beat value proposition.
