Lots of Incoming posts

I'm pleasantly surprised of all the Incoming posts lately. It's nice to see that Rolex watches are becoming more available. Is anyone else surprised to see so many Incoming posted recently?

Do you think Rolex is emptying their inventories in light of the coronavirus pandemic?

Very happy to see people who want, and will use the watch, getting it instead of the flippers.

No, I don't think that the inventory has changed at all.

Just like almost everything else, many folks are foregoing purchases, which leaves the market open for those with the means.

Yes, noticed that too and it is really a good thing to see.
It’s not Rolex who’s emptying the cases but greedy ADs and grey dealers.

I think maybe more inventory is getting to the people who like watches enough to post them on the internet rather than keep them for investment for trade.

After all your wouldn't buy one as a financial investment right now, only for pleasure.

All the ADs around me are closed, so no idea what will happen, but it is nice to see.

I also think flippers and speculators are not buying up as much stock at this time allowing for more availability.

Look at the thread dates. Lots of these incoming threads on the front page are old and being bumped.

I'm happy to see all the incoming posts, but every AD I've reached out to is either closed or has boring inventory :(. At least none of the watches I'm waiting on.

As Matt said (Kauffee).. a lot of threads are being bumped. I check the forum first thing in the morning and suddenly there’s loads of incomings all from March, February, etc..

The Greys are long of so much stock that they can’t shift at their massive premiums. The AD’s can only sell to retail . Greys are long’n’wrong. Balance of power shift. My crystal ball says affordable Rolexes coming very soon.

Rolex Boutique in my city told me that during the lockdown there is no new shipment coming in at all. I am very surprise that many people here got a call and got their hard to obtain watches during the lockdown.

Funny situation happened today related to this...I reached out to one of my local AD’s about 2.5 weeks ago inquiring about SS models and all they had/offered me was a DJ. I just received one of the models I inquired about from my Grey dealer multiple states away and the warranty card was dated 9 days ago from my local AD! Took probably less than 4 days for it to get flipped and somehow make its way cross country.... needless to say my AD has still yet to respond to my email asking to verify this was purchased from them!

It appears the bigger ADs are getting some stuff. I’ve been contacted.

I think many of these watches were sitting in the AD’s safe, and when they knew they were closing for the foreseeable future, they decided to sell them the much needed cash flow. I got the call the day the store was closing
