Is the atomic clock in Ft. Collins CO still operating?
Just wondering before I potentially buy a solar watch?

I believe it. Saved $50, can go non-solar. Honestly, is it closed? The Casio lobby failed?

I would get one of their GPS enabled watches. Those satellites aren't going away anytime soon. I have a Rangeman, and it's awesome.
Here's a list of them on the Casio site. Some of them are solar, too (in addition to other cool functions): https://world.g-shock.com/asia-mea/e...nder/?func=gps

I have a Rangeman Master of G. The newer ones with Bluetooth and GPS look great. Thank you for pointing them out.

I have a Citizen AT and it still syncs with Fort Collins.
