I do understand this feeling. No matter where we are in the journey, sometimes we think it’s not a good use of resources, or somehow wasteful, or does not fit our situation. Keep the wife happy! Get the BLNR. You can always replace the sub. Just another WIS who loves to trade. @bladeandwatch1 on IG

I’ll prob keep both for a few months and then decide which one I want, hold the loser until Q4 to see how close I am to hitting my sales target and bonus and then make the decision to sell or not. Sales is just too volatile until the dust settles at EOY. |

I went from a sub to my current GMT II. No regrets here, I know there are folks on here who say they go back to the sub later on etc, not me.
And yes, it does wear better in my opinion.

My AD just told me it would be much easier to get the sub LV and then the GMT later. Back to where I ended and then get the Daytona done the road. Seems like the BLNR is really hot to get right now.

Very interesting, I wouldn't expect that - especially with the rarity of the LV. You think you'll flip your LN for LV?

For me personally, I would not keep both watches. Let go of the sub and keep the GMT only :) |

It all depends on what you really like, I would buy the BLNR at first sight hence I can afford both and find it very appealing and for a GMT function.

Reading through the comments I am quite surprised, for me the 41mm submariner is easily the most comfortable watch and I love the glidelock clasp. However, between the two, I think I would also pick the BLNR. Kind of in the same boat as you are, awaiting the call for a GMT and if I do I will probably sell my datejust for it and if I had to sell another eventually, I think the sub before the GMT. Easily the most useful complication (for me) and looks stunning.

BLNR at Retail

I agree. I have the Submariner 114060 and because of glidelock, it fits perfectly on me. The GMT on the jubilee is ever so slightly either too tight or too loose on me. I have a similar problem with my DJ41, too. But I wear both all the time anyway. I also agree with you about the stunning looks of the GMT BLNR. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm wearing my sub here and it just feels a bit less comfortable than I would prefer. I think it's really the 21M bracelet and clasp. Edit: on a separate note I watched some videos on the GMT function, I didn’t realize the GMT hand was suppose to be read with the bezel numerials, that is really convenient to quickly switch time zones. Its basically a world timer. |

Have you moved any of the micro adjustments in the clasp?? Between those and moving a Jubilee link, you can get an identical sizing to what a glidelock clasp can adjust to as the Jubilee links are shorter than an oyster link. You have a 3mm for the micro adjustment in clasp. You have a 8mm per jubilee link. You have a 5 mm per Easylink extension. Between playing with those combos you can really get a fine tune adjustment.

Moving the micro adjustment to another of the 3 holes in the clasp is pretty easy and only requires a springbar fork. Moving a link around only requires a proper fitting screwdriver.
