To the OP, I know you already made up your mind. I'll tell you my story...
Had a Sub-C for about a year, sold Sub-C for the PO 8500, sold the PO 8500, I repurchased the PO 8500. I could have easily got back the Sub but I didn't. Reasons are.... the watch is bang for the buck. It is simply one of the best divers out there RIGHT NOW. It got more wrist time than my Explorer II 42mm. The only thing is that Omegas do not keep it's resale value like Rolex. To save yourself the heartache, always purchased used Omega and you will never go wrong. |

Ive owned em - and I still have the 116610 I got in August.
The sub C is ridiculously nice, and i sometimes consider selling when its on the winder, but i put it back on and look down and realize i just cannot part with it youll miss the HELL out of it two months ago i had a spring bar get lost in a strap change issue, and i waited 2 weeks for a new bar - longest 2 weeks of my life (and i have other nice watches). i missed the sub. I owned the 16610 and got rid of it, never looked back. The 116610 is timeless and had the things I needed (bigger markers, A/R on date, cermaic bezel and nice bracelet). Be happy with the Sub my friend, or youll end up buying it back at a premium when prices go up ;) |
