The Daytorite looks alright

I’m a big fan of the WG Daytorite (trademarked ) on OF.

This is my favorite Rolex offering this year.

(Pic from the interweb)

It’s a very cool (yet serious) watch that has that extra bit of punch with the meteorite dial.

The Pepsi GMT with meteorite dial is more playful with the red, white, and blue coloring.

I think they can coexist in a collection.

AT $34K for a meteorite dial... I just don't know. You have to spend way more to get one on another model, the DD for example, but $34K for a watch with a rubber bracelet? It's my favorite release of the day though.

It looks a little too busy to me, although actual pictures might tell a different story.

It's a winner.

I am in this camp. A lot of coin for a rubber strap. Now on a proper bracelet its pretty much the perfect Daytona.

On a side note: Rolex also didnt fool around with the Daytona's movement which is probably the most significant win for the entire Daytona line.

It's on the bracelet model too. Also on the YG and RG bracelet models.

I Totally Agree with you on this! The new 40mm DD dial option is interesting if you are in the market for RG DD.

Even I have a blue and silver dial, I will like to have a meteorite dial.

Yeah, for another $9K. About the MSRP of a SS Sub.
