Blue 41mm Day Date
Is there anywhere you can go to see what dials were offered for the Day Date II, 41mm. This is listed as Custom Dial. Would that mean they swapped out the dial? Or Custom as in special ordered but factory set??

Plus it looks like the IV is off center... maybe this a knock off?

Thanks, that's kind of what I was afraid of... and with the VI looking a bit off center

Since I have several DD2’s (Bigger bezel and more sporty) here’s my 2 cents:
The beautiful dial is a nice but is definitely an AFTERMARKET. The proof is that the “Swiss Made” is spread out too far. You could absolutely buy it and ask for a discount and then buy a real dial so you have legitimacy on a re-sale…… Good Luck! |

The blue was not offer for the DD II. I have owned several over the years and currently own the champagne dial version in YG. Dials are easy to source, believe it or not, several legitimate sellers on eBay. Make sure the hands match the setup for the dial as there are different hands for different dial. Not inexpensive, around 1k for the dial and $300 for my Rolex Tech to install.

They tried to center the IV over Swiss Made. You can see in the champagnes dial photo the V is even with end of the E in Made.
