I put mine on a kudu strap, it’s more comfortable than the stiff AP code strap and really changes the feel of the watch.

Looks so good ! And kudo is one of my fav

The original pins fits any strap. I dont know why but the original strap gives me feeling that they are so thick !

What screw did you use for removing the strap too ?

And finally whats the lug size? 22mm?

Changing the strap was pretty simple, there are small screws on either side and a bar in the middle that the screws pin in place.. just be careful when putting them back in to make sure everything is lined up.

Yes, 22mm lug width.. I have them made by millhandmade.com.. if you order the strap with the quick release spring bars they can slide out and the little opening on the back makes aligning the code bar and screw really easy.

Lovely watch!

That said - makes me chuckle that we shell out $60k and then immediately change the strap since the OEM one is stiff and uncomfortable

I wore it out of the store on the AP strap, then changed it at home same day…

And agreed, it’s a little ironic; but I’ve learned the right strap can make a huge difference in my overall enjoyment of the watch. I just don’t like the stiffer or more formal straps, so I put different color kudu straps on most watches

Very nice new piece! How long was the wait, or was there a wait? I don't shop AP very much but been reading that the Codes are much easier to get than the Royal Oaks.

This piece doesn't seem like a regular Code though.

I find the 22-20 work better on the codes, and I use the buckles from mill versus trying to fit the ap buckle
