5 watch collection

Curious to see what everyone would pick to make up a 5 watch collection. It has to retail for less then 15k, must be new, can not be a Rolex and must be 5 different brands.

Here are my picks

Cartier Santos
GO PanoMaticLunar
Breitling Premier Datora
Omega Speedmaster
GP Laureato

I agree with you on Santos and Speedy, I would throw in Panerai PAM000 (personal fav). Need to put some thought into what my other two would be.

The seiko is sentimental.

Here are my 5

Sorry for crap pic. Just the way my devices work w size limits

Edit below:

Oops didn’t read the restrictions… at that price the 5 watches you chose would be a good start.

I would also look to include
Panerai, Tudor and grand seiko

New would be a challenge

My 5 would be

Reverso Tribute monoface
Chopard Alpine Eagle
Cartier Santos
GP Laureato
Cartier Pasha Chronograph blue dial

Edit...didn't realize it had to be 5 different brands. So perhaps, I'd swap the Cartier Pasha chronograph for an IWC Pilot chronograph, although I'd rather have the Pasha chronograph.

I get the idea but I'd pick 5 watches from 2 or 3 brands myself and arrive at a collection that I'd like a lot more vs having to pick 5 different brands.

I totally agree but the idea is to diversify and have 5 distinctly different looking pieces.

I actually did this. I pared my “proper” collection down to five watches of five distinct brands.

1. Rolex Sub 124060 (but to follow your rules I’d swap that for a Tudor Pelagos 39)
2. IWC Top Gun Chronograph
3. Omega AquaTerra
4. Grand Seiko 9F GMT
5. Breitling Avenger

IWC Big Pilot’s Heritage
IWC Portugieser 42.3
JLC Polaris Date
Omega Speedmaster Super Racing

Close to finishing this group in my collection .
