Waiting time for lady Datejust?
The authorized dealer said 6-9 months, but said it could also come in three months.
3-9 months is a pretty big span of time. What’s the waiting period like, from your experience? |

Depends on the model, depends on the size of your dealer.

We requested a DJ31 chocolate dial with diamond plots the same time we requested a BLNR for me.
My BLNR came in 2 months after our request and my wife’s DJ took 8 months—and it was one of the last special requests Rolex accepted. The old guidelines of finding ladies DJs easily is no longer the case I’m afraid… |

Not a single ladies model at my AD the other day. Unless you want PM or diamonds it may just take 3-9 months. Be patient hopefully you can get it sooner. Keep us posted

I saw these today in the display case at an AD today...not ladies but if these are available in the case so are ladies...more regularly.
It all depends on if your AD is one of the "good guys" or playing Reindeer Games. |

I wanted a two-tone rose gold and steel Lady Datejust, fluted bezel, Jubilee bracelet, and sundust stick dial. I kept hesitating about buying it, and then my husband said he'd buy it for me for our anniversary. Unfortunately, the sundust dial was discontinued about a week before he said that. First AD I contacted said that there was no way in hell that I could get the watch with the sundust dial since it had been discontinued, and that whatever watch I decided on (other dials in the running were the white Roman and the rosé colored stick) would take 10-14 weeks but could take up to six months. I then contacted another AD, and exactly one month to the day after first speaking with him, we picked up my watch - WITH a sundust stick dial.

Not a Lady Datejust, but I ordered (when you could still do so) a 36mm Black Datejust, (steel, oyster bracelet, smooth bezel, stick indices) in July. AD said it’d be 8-12 weeks; still waiting. Didn’t expect it to be this hard to get one of those.
Since then he secured me an OP for my wife, so I don’t think he’s playing games, but starting to wonder. |

I purchased a steel-on-steel, domed bezel, pink dial with Roman numerals.

More of a function of which dial and bezel combo than anything else for the randomly showing up. Hence such a wide range.
