Thanks again for all the kind words. I have been so fortunate in my life to go 34 years without losing someone this close to me.
Though I am sad, angry at times, and overall in disbelief, I will say that relationships have grown stronger and the community support (kind words, raising money, friends hosting live DJ fundraisers, the kindness of my fellow forum members, etc.) reinforced my belief in people and kindness. Through tragedy, sometimes yields the best in humanity and it gives me a sense of peace and contentment! |

Truly very sorry for the loss of your brother Brian. This could happen to any of us or those close to us. Thank you for sharing as it helps keep perspective. Many of us complain about having to shelter place and that is actually our biggest problem. Godspeed to your brother. He lives on in you. I wish strength for you and yours at this crucial time.
