Aerospace?

Was at my local Rolex AD today, and just happened by the Breitling area. I have been a long time fan of the brand, and own a Chronomat Evolution. Love it although it doesn't get much wrist time these days. Just feels way too big.
Anyway, I saw the aerospace and tried it on briefly. Loved it, but wanted to ask what the general feeling was on here for that watch? Does it wear well? Hard to maintain with batteries? Better to buy AD or TRF trusted seller? If TRF, any recommendations as to who?
Thanks

TheAerospace is a fantastic watch, accurate, comfortable, good looking.
I'm in the process of shrinking my collection down to 3-4 pieces, and my Aerospace will be one of those I keep.

+1. A genuine tool watch, and a quartz that does things only a quartz can do, rather than just being the cheaper version of a mechnical in the same model lineup. Thermocompensated superquartz so generally accurate to about a second a month - I only adjust mine twice a year, along with the clock changes. No ticking second hand to offend the sweeping-hand purists. All the functions accessible via the crown, which quickly becomes intuitive. Even on bracelet it's fantastically light, being titanium. Ti can look a little dull indoors but looks great in sunlight. I've a modest rotation but time and again it's my daily choice.

Battery life is 3-4 years and is a simple enough job at an AD, and when you think that at every second change it ought to be going off for a service anyway, it's no great imposition.

I have the older version and I love it very much. A perfect grab and go piece.

I've had my aerospace for 5 1/2 years. Just sent it in last week for it's first battery change and service. It's a great mid-priced, quality tool watch! Extremely accurate (less than 1 sec/month), lightweight, and lots of functions.

Fab pictures and thanks for the responses.
How can you tell which are the new style? Is it the numbers?

Yes. The Evo has the dial with more numbers instead of indices. The diameter is bigger at 43 compared to 42 on the Avantage. It is also a tad thicker. The bezel is slightly different too. The chimney ring has also been removed in the newer Evo.

For more detailed info, checkout some reviews on different websites. Ablogtowatch has a good review if I remember correctly.

I bought mine preowned when my Daytona was in for service because I use a chrono quite a bit. I like the high functionality and light weight. I wear it once or twice a week. It wears very thin, but the only real complaint I have is the raised bezel markers catch on loose fibers. Watch out for sweaters and loose weave clothing, etc.

I'm a fan...mine came with the bracelet. I put it on a rubber strap for a little variety. I prefer the bracelet, overall.

As has been said, it's a great tool/grab and go watch. Lightweight and comfortable. I love mechanical chronographs...the Speedmaster, Daytona and Navitimer, in particular...but none can compare, in terms of pure timing function, to the Aerospace's chronic function. The other functions are useful, too.

With all the new Aerospace references shown above, here is the older version at the time it was labeled Aerospace Repetition Minutes on the dial.

I owned one of the older versions--- when i was younger. I wore this watch every day for 8 years and never had a problem. Needed one battery change. I sold it for almost what i paid for it… My complaint on the older version was the display was hard to see in poor light. This has been improved in newer models
