My last Speedmaster Pro....for now

Life feels pretty good today.

I sourced a mint Soyuz (Speedeorite). It even had the stickers still on it.

Man, this is an impressive dial.
I also own a WG Daytona, but the Meteorite dial available for that watch just never "did it" for me in person.
I find it lacking in contrast. This meteorite dial is another matter altogether.

My speedmasters:
1969 Mark II on Mesh
Standard issue Moonwatch on Hirsch Rubber
Gemini IV
Soyuz.

I think i am satisfied....

I love the race dial Mk. II. I have a black (well 'dark chocolate' now) dial Mk. II and I'm considering a dial and hand swap to have one less black dial watch in my collection...

Those are all sweet! Enjoy!

As my wife would say... I have heard that before....

Nice watch... I am getting the itch for a speedy after just getting the Rolex Explorer II for Christmas.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has the itch too. I told my wife that my Panerai I picked up in February would be my last one. Fast forward 2 months and I am now telling her a PO will be the last one. This time I mean it...

Aha, an enabler.

If I did that, I'd have to sell my Tudor chrono (white face, black subs).

Now....there's an idea.
