Is the Daydate Yellow Gold Silver Dial hard to get?

Hey.

So for a while I've been trying to get the rose gold green dial, but am understanding how difficult it can be to find it, especially here in Miami.

I'm thinking of rerouting and going for the yellow gold with white/silver dial. Is this watch also considered hard to get right now as the rose gold or is that something I can expect to get in an AD?

Also, was considering a rose gold with white/silver dial, but I'm afraid those color combinations make the rose gold look a bit "dull". Happy to hear your thoughts on this if you have this combo and even pictures would be awesome

Thanks!

You can find the rose gold with olive dial in Miami if you're ok paying the grey market prices but you won't find at any AD.

Yellow gold is a lot easier to come by in fact I know an AD with a yellow gold available right now. It has the white dial you like but it has the diamond bezel.

I had one yg dd silver dial and while not in high demand it is not readily available. I sold it slight below msrp but i think it is a few k above now hence hard to find now.. I have 50% deposit on olive dial dd40 for 4 months now. That is the hot dd40

Not dull in real life. It looks like you’re getting more rose gold

Congrats on finding an AD to order the rose gold olive dial all the ones I've talked to said they're not allowed to order that combination.

I don’t understand the huge premium for the RG DD olive dial as this seems to be one of the rare instances where you can actually send in for service and swap for the more desired dial? That’s not allowed on the steel or YG Daytona, for example.

Now that I think of it, I suppose the same approach is possible with the OP…

I've heard they aren't allowing dial swaps for the olive due to it's hype and demand right now.

According to my AD the yellow gold white dial is the easiest DD40 to get other than champagne dial.

Wow. Mind sharing how did you get the AD to order you the olive dial rose gold? Damn I'll be happy to put 50% deposit if they tell me 4 months.

It doesn’t matter what Rolex do, you can buy the dial from a trusted seller on something like chrono24 and any decent local watchmaker will change it for you while wait for £50-£100, it’s that simple

Should be easy to order. Try a different market though. Perhaps Orlando. Miami isn’t the place to get ad watches unless you’re spending big dollars

That's an underappreciated combo there. Looks incredible and I like that the numerals stand out a little better on the silver background.

But the blue dial with white gold is the best. Looks incredible in person

My AD in Miami told me about 7 months for a gold DD.
Not including the green dial which is harder to get.
If you want diamonds on the bezel, I have seen a few readily available.

My AD in Florida told me 8 months for a DD so that seems to be about the right timeframe currently. They said they can't even order the olive dial.

My ad in LA took a $10k deposit for a dd40 YG silver Roman dial but had no timeline still waiting since January
