What is the recommended service interval for a three hander? Three years? Five? Depends on how the watch is keeping time?

Why should I have regular maintenance performed on my watch? Your Vacheron Constantin watch is a rare and precious timepiece. It thus contains mechanical components that require regular cleaning and lubrication, which should be performed every 3 to 5 years for manual or automatic mechanical watches, and 6 to 7 years for quartz models. This is to prevent premature wear and ensure its long-term operation. It's thus important to provide it with the best care possible. Incidentally, our watchmakers apply less than a gram of lubricant to the entire movement. https://www.vacheron-constantin.com/...questions.html |

Love it! The black VCOSDT on rubber is my favorite thing in their whole catalog.

I've worn this exclusively on a rubber since I got it. But decided to throw on the bracelet today. |

Just picked up my first VC from Nashville Watch. Really stands out from previous watches I’ve had and love the finishing. Does anyone know if it’s possible to order extra links if needed from VC?

If only they would produce an overseas in a 37/38mm version.
Has any gents with smaller wrists gotten the 34.5mm version? I wear a 36mm most days, is it comparable at all to that? |

I put down a deposit for the 4600V SS without trying it on from the NYC boutique. After putting down the deposit, I was able to try on the gold version of the 4600 at a boutique in SoCal. It wore very small on my small wrist (just barely 6" but flat). It wore too small, in fact. Nowhere near a 36 mm date just which I own. Sadly, I had to request a refund of my deposit If Vacheron comes out with a 37-38mm version, I will be buy it. Until then, I am out of luck. |

This watch makes me struggle with my collection. It’s tough to justify adding another stainless steel sports piece. The 7900v is a Swiss Army knife, I cannot recommend it enough. I find myself rationalizing a yg or rg sports piece (thinking 116518ln pn-dial or yg ym42 or 126508 (all gold patrizzi look a like, just might be limiting on where this piece could be worn) or something with blue (126619).

I second the above comments on the 34.5mm version. I have a 6 inch wrist and it felt too small for me. Wears much smaller than a 36mm 116000 OP. The VC 2300v (37mm) fits me much better but even I would love to see a 38mm version.

It does wear smaller than a 36mm Rolex. I picked one up last week. I love the smaller size and simplicity of the dial without the chapter ring of the larger model. For reference, I have ~6.5 inch wrist circumference. I prefer smaller watches but that’s not everyone’s preference.

Congrats! I have one coming in tomorrow so am so excited. This completes my "Trinity." I think I'll be about 50:50 with the bracelet and rubber strap. |

Suggestions on boutiques?
Hi All,
First time, long time. I'd like to explore getting on a waiting list for either the time only or the dual time. The addition of the tapered bracelet on the new gen has made the overseas a more compelling proposition for me (especially the thinner case on the dual time). Two questions: * I have a 6.75" wrist and just parted with a datejust 41 (which generally wore fine on my wrist, but at times I felt it looked big) - would either model work OK? * Should I go to the my VC boutique (Boston) or try to go to a larger boutique in NYC (for example)? Will it make a difference around likelihood of getting allocated? I'm also a big fan of VC's other watches in the lineup; so, among the holy trinity I could actually see myself buying multiple over time. Thanks! |

I don’t see many people sharing the 5520V so…
I gotta say the case thickness upgrade from 5500V to 5520V is truly amazing! It’s still an overall big watch but it wears a tad smaller and slimmer now. |

I have a similar size wrist and I think you‘ll be fine with the size. Here’s a comparison of a DJ41 with my 7900 on my wrist. it is a large watch but still wears ok. I’d strongly advise for the DT, it is such a useful complication and makes the dial much more interesting to my eyes. |

You should try it first if you thought the DJ41 was too big. DJ41 isn't even 41 mm, it's actually 39.5 mm. The overseas is an integrated bracelet design and is going to wear bigger than advertised. They are very comfortable though and far nicer than a DJ41... but that comment has me worried for you.
