The new Piaget Polo79

Wow amazing. Piaget brought back the iconic Piaget Polo now called the Polo79 with automatic movement

It's lovely. I hope Piaget has a nice revival built around pieces like this.

The new Piaget Polo79

I’ll be the dissenter- looks hideous to me. Like a bad attempt at reviving a piece of early ‘80s costume jewelry.

Looks like someone cut strips out of a 222.

I actually really like that. Shame about the price. Just too many better options at that price range.

Amazing looking watch! They should have released it sooner. The price obviously is too steep and i'm not the target customer but objectively, i like!

It’s cool but I can think of at least 100 watches in that price range I’d buy before it lol

I disagree only in that I can probably find 1000 others I’d choose first. It’s not an awful watch but I wouldn’t be a buyer at 8k let alone 80k.

Love it. The retro vibes got me weak in the knees. Way too pricey though.

Cool fashion watch that I think will look old again within a year or two.

I think that, for want of a better word, is horrible. Wouldn’t give it the time of day.

A cool looking retro vintage 70's style watch. I like it. I would have been fine if they had left it quartz but no issue with the movement change. The price is ridiculous. I would consider this watch pre-owned at about 20k but no where near the current asking price.

If I were spending the money on this kind of watch, I would have a hard time choosing this over the 222. It is interesting and a nice revival, though.

Looks better than the 222, but both are too retro for me, and crazy expensive for what they are.

Price is a bit high, but I like it! I wish they would bring back the rectangular/square version with an automatic movement too.

I like it but for that price I could think of others I would add before.

Cool watch. That's a pricey 200 grams of gold. Not enough heft for that price, in my opinion.

Seems pretty inline with other gold integrated luxury sports watches. The 222 is 205 grams and about $69,000. The all gold 16202 is $78,300 (but I didn't see how many grams of gold that model is. A white gold Nautilus is $70K, but it's also important to consider you have to have a significant spend history for them to consider selling a 222, 16202 or Nautilus to you...so the price of entry for those three is technically well beyond the MSRP.

But when using an etachron regulator in a rather mediocre finished movement I think 81.000 euro is insane
This something like a full gold omega or Rolex so let’s say around 40.000 euro

Kind of a missed opportunity to go with the original design, that was more squared off at edges. The rounded one was the ladies one. Also too much

Cool but I'd take a VC 222 over this
