Tudor AD didn’t remove stickers…

Friend of mine just picked up a new white dial Chrono from his local Tudor AD & was amazed they didn’t remove the stickers!

I know they sometimes miss the odd one or two but this is full stickers even the crystal.

Is this a new policy by Tudor or major mistake by the SA?

Just wondered if anyone else has made a recent Tudor purchase & experienced anything similar?

I thought that was just a Rolex thing.

My AD didn’t remove the stickers from the Pelagos FXD I purchased recently.

That’s interesting - I thought with Tudor being so closely linked to Rolex it would be an across the board policy

Thanks for the update

I recently purchased a white dial Tudor BB Chrono and the AD didn’t remove the stickers. Like others have said, I think the sticker removal at purchase is a Rolex policy.

Sometimes they get distracted. I don't think they have the same problem flipping Tudors as they do Rolex.

To sell as BNIB, what else?

Tudor, unlike Rolex is still easy to get and of course, affordable.
And now with stickers on...Hmm...I see potential $$$€€€£££¥¥¥₩₩₩
Time to max out my credit cards, again. Oh and perhaps apply for another one too while at it ...

Then I'll put down my name for a ss Daytona, Pepsi, Starbucks / Cermit / Hulk /Superman / Spider man / Iron man oh, wait..

Because whenever I pick up a new Rolex I enjoy to size it and peel off the stickers in the comfort of my home.
Nice little ritual and I don’t like any shop employee fiddling around with my watch.

AD knows you cannot flip a Tudor for more than MSRP so there's no point in removing stickers. You bought it to wear it, you'll pick them off when you get home.

Sometimes my AD does and sometimes they don't. I think it is about how busy they are.

People who keep talking about stickers probably are those who leave them on their TVs and Laptops, until they start to peel off and look disgusting.

I also wager they leave the codebar sticker behind their Samsung phones and tag on their coat’s sleeves.

They took the stickers off my white dial BB Chrono, so maybe it's up to the AD?

Doesn’t Tudor allow for online sales? If so, I’d think delivery with stickers intact would be part of that and therefore no blanket policy would prohibit.

They are suppose too, but I guess it doesn’t always happen. I realized they are really a PIA to remove after my last purchase. I would be happy if they did it for me from now on.

My AD always did, and I never cared - made it easier since I would probably miss some.

I purchased a Tudor GMT from an AD here in Sydney in the middle of our most recent lockdown and they shipped it to me stickers in-place. Removing them brought back fond memories of how many weeks it took me to find and remove ALL the stickers from my DSSD. In fact I think after a week of wearing the GMT, I found one more sticker I had missed.

Why would it be a mistake? I think it all depends on the SA at time of purchase or which particular store is enforcing it. All my recent purchases still had stickers on them. I took them off at store after it gout sized since i dont need them. But i don’t keep boxes either.

Recently bought a BB 58 in store from AD, all stickers removed. Then purchased GMT and had it shipped, all stickers and bezel protector intact.
