And a new group of Daytona watches goes to Penske Porsche at the Rolex 24hr

Very cool ending as Penske Porsche take the win at this years IMSA Rolex 24hr at Daytona. Lots of Rolex Daytona watches on display as well as what the engraved case back look like this year. So the entire Roger Penske Porsche team take home a slew of white face TT Daytona with engraved 2024 case backs.

They still have to get in line for a ss Daytona…..

I always liked the white faced two-tone they give to the winners at Daytona. I'd love to attend this event someday. Endurance racing is much more fascinating to me than F1.

Fun race to watch, including to the very end. Penske has had a year.

Last year was a teething year with the car but all the right pieces were there. The team was too polished from the top down to not start to dominate.
There were a couple of other teams in different divisions that is looking very promising. Some other manufacturers fell on their face in this race of attrition.

It’s not always the fastest car but the fastest car that finishes and why Porsche has always dominated endurance racing.

Would have been nice to have one more lap.

That flag came out so soon even the press team didn’t have time to announce the finishing last lap.

The Rolex 24 and Le Mans are on my bucket list. Glad to see Penske finally win. Also nice to see an IndyCar driver on the team even if I’m not the biggest Newgarden fan.

True - I was on the live T&S port and it was an early checkered. Should have been a WWF + a lap - it was close.

But kudos to all the winning teams. Including a 17 yo on the LMP2 winning team!
