My (Almost Certainly) Soon to be Discontinued Golden Palm Datejust

I love this watch.

One of the more fun watches in my collection, I love how from a distance it would probably look like the most archetypal Rolex; a bi-metal 36mm champagne dial Datejust.. but up close, the dial is pretty special.

Happy Easter Holidays Folks

Looks nice. I think we're going to see a lot of laser etched dial designs going forward.

It's a nice dial but just a dial variation nothing more like the hundreds of others over the past 50 odd years.

I have the green version and it truly is a treat in the sun! Also my AD told me last week it’s 100% discontinued. This was a pretty short run. 3 years I think

My (Almost Certainly) Soon to be Discontinued Golden Palm Datejust

I need one of these. My wife saw this on a vacation and fell in love. Should have just bought it then. If anyone wants to sell one let me know.

Just contact one of our trusted sellers. If they don’t have one, they will find you one.

My wife enjoys that watch on special occasions. Her Sub on orange RubberB strap is her daily. Wear in great health!

That watch looks fantastic in the pictures, enjoy!!!!

Unfortunately I'm not sure my old eyes would like the dial. I have a 18238 DD, champagne dial and it takes me ages to work out the time from a glance.

Yeah very short run. You're right, such a dynamic dial when the light hits it!

Thanks! For sure, it takes a bit of adjusting after taking my 114060 maxi sub off!

Love it, the gold motif is great (as someone who likes a champagne dial!).

Agree that it’s likely to get discontinued - dials are hard to produce apparently…

Very nice. I had thought about getting the same DJ but ended up with the Blue Motif with diamond markers instead for my DJ

Yeah I heard they had difficulty producing them also. Although, I think the laser ablation technique will be used for different designs in the future, see what W&W brings!
