Black/Grey GMT II

I had a chance to try on the black and gray bezel GMT today at the boutique. Very sharp watch, classic look. One of the more elegant GMT’s. I like that there’s no color. Looked very nice with the jubilee stainless steel bracelet. Another tough to get stainless steel Rolex.

That looks really sharp! Although I feel the GMT hand should have been a different color.

Looks nice, actually better than the Rolex pics which show less contrast between black & grey on the bezel. Might have to take a look. Thanks for posting. Cheers

Nice find! Thanks for the pics.

I like it too because I'm a GMT freak. That said, it would still place 4th on my list of SS Jubilee GMTII's behind the BLRO, BLNR, and VTNR.

I'd buy one at retail though if I didn't have a GMTII!

Good luck to all those wanting one!

I would have thought that with four steel GMTii options in production, this new version would not be as hard to get. Hopefully wait times will be better at least.

Not my cup of tea ... I don't know who came up with the black / gray idea, but it looks odd to me.

Black gray is very very handsome in real life, but the numerals are the wrong colour 😉. No seriously it’s a really nice GMT. But then i like them all except the VTNR and CHNR (which should be on jubilee, then we’d be talking)

Need to see one of these in 'real life', photos make the gray appear quite washed out.

The green GMT hand should have been gray.

Agreed, a gray (or just plain white gold) GMT hand would have tied it together nicely.

Still looks good though!

the grey/black makes more logical sense for gmt bezel colors from a day/night perspective when tracking the other time zone, at least as good as the BLNR. The pepsi is actually the least logical in that regard.

The grey looks very different in these pictures than all the "glamour" / official shots/renders. Interesting...

Still think it looks better on the 2-tone model, which is pretty unusual!

I really like it, especially on the Jubilee bracelet.

If I had an opportunity to pick one up, I'd be really tempted.

So is it more impressive in person to the point of possibility adding it to the collection?
I really want to see it in person myself.
