My AD lost their license and I switched over to the new AP boutique in about 2021. Worked with a new SA and they noted I had registered my offshores on the AP site and honored my purchase history (so thankfully I was not starting from scratch). Since then my wife has purchased 2 APs from the boutique, then my SA transitioned to the new AP House last year and since then I've been fortunate enough to receive 3 Royal Oaks: 15510st Blue dial, 15510or full gold and the 15407st! I hope that's helpful background

To be honest when you get the call for this piece you jump LOL! I love the aesthetics of the slate gray dial against the accents of the gold bridge and brass gears. The contrast, depth and endless details really just work perfectly IMO  . The new iteration may also be amazing, but without knowing the details I can't be certain it would strike the same notes for me.

Your journey is also very helpful as I always wonder how much purchases for the wife influence big allocations in general. If you can recall, how long ago did you ask for the 15407 until they finally allocated? |
