Sorry..
What you just said I cannot find a single point I could agree upon.

Congrats Desmond, I got an 16610v from HK about a week ago and the LV was just couple thousands more which worked out to be $250aus rather than 500. The price is so much better than here. I love my new Sub and I wish I got the LV as well. Congratulations again.

How can Rolex in HK being the most expensive in the world? If you are buying from grey dealers (which you can verify the watch at RSC free of charge), the discounts could be significant and I am sure that it would be much cheaper even though it may not the cheapest in the world.

Hi Desmond,

Great to meet you and your family today! I'm glad to have met you and now I know I have another friend in Singapore.

You're a smart man to buy the Mrs. her purse and your son the Power Ranger before meeting up with me

Wear it in good health and enjoy the rest of your stay in Hong Kong.

Cheers,

Eric

Major Correction...!!!!!

It wasnt just a purse boy how I wish it was.

The thing you saw in a BIG BRWON CARRIER was a LV Bag.

Anyway it was really nice to meet someone like you and as what you have mentioned you definetly have a friend from Singapore anything you need just give me a shout.

I feel your pain, my friend. My wife recently picked up something called a Chanel 2.5?? Costs as much as my EXPI - sheesh, at least she doesn't comment on my purchases

Just been to HK. Prices are high and even when pushed the discount is around about 5 to 10% at most vintage or new, even taking into the exchange rate $US or UK£. Good range of dealers in the TST area on the Nathan Rd with nice watches. Buying in the US$ looks more favourable.

Haha
Hi Eric!
One of the reasons why I'm still holding up on my decision on the Pam is because wifey agrees to buy a Pam if that li'l lamb skin 2.5 bag comes along with it
It's not that I do not agree on having those expensive bags... but it would be like her 6-8 bags?
Well as the saying goes like...
Watches are for Mens as bags are for the ladies. Wish they hold their values like our watches!

Carlos my friend - looks like we need to meet up soon, and we'll get our wives together so they can take care of each other while we go watch shopping!

Yes 2.5 in Lamb Skin - now I recall, not that I don't pay attention...at least I got the brand and model number correct

Price update for Hong Kong Sub LV V Series

If you go to any Rolex AD List price is about HK$47k the normal discount they will give is about 8% which will work out about HK$43++ (This price is for anyone that walks in from the street)

I think maybe you went to the wrong shops, or maybe you looking rich and did not need the discount...lol (Just kidding no offence)

Even anyone off the street walks into the AD the discount for Sub LV is already 8% off List. If you have good relationship with the AD definetly more discount.

Hi all,
To my experiences, USA, Japan, HKG, KL(Malaysia), Bangkok and Singapore are best places to buy a Rolex-whether it's a brand new or pre-owned. However, we should watch out the exchange rate from time to time to get the best final price based on USD)

If you can get one at a good price; nothing will stop you from buying it in HK.

You'd be very lucky if you can find one in stock in hk. I've been looking for 5 months and not seen one in an AD yet. I have heard about them being available but these models sell very quickly.

Yeah, I did ask at an independent AD who is still withholding one priced 10% above msrp. The larger chain stores will never do this so it's all down to how lucky you are finding one. Most won't specifically order one on your behalf either.

Absolute rubbish.
There's many excellent deals and dealers in HK
You should be cautious buying preowned anywhere.

HONG KONG
Ken’s Watches www.kenwatches.com - 3 locations (see website), pretty good selection, fair pricing.
Pak Lee Watches – 4(?) Middle Rd, TST, Kowloon, Good selection, prices fair.
Noble Watch, Sino Centre, 582 Nathan Rd Mong Kok
(Recommended – this is where I found my 14060M “Y” series for 2,900 USD in near mint condition. This little mall has several stores that looked good with great prices (w/haggling)).
Unknown Name – store just around the corner from Sino Ctr. -40ish Dundas St.
Some nice stock, little pricey.
Kings Watches, 366 Portland, Mong Kok, Kowloon
Po Wan Lai Watches, Causeway Bay http://www.powanloiwatch.com.hk/productlist.php?id=3
Chuen Fat Watch and Jewellery, Jardine Street, Causeway Bay
Union Watch, Kimberley Rd. in the Champagne Court.
Tse’s Collection – 4 Ichang St, TST, Kowloon, Small collection, fair price.
Unknown Name – store just around the corner from Sino Ctr. -40ish Dundas St. Some nice stock, little pricey.
Unknown - Small shops in little mall 19? Kimberley Rd , Kowloon... this might be Champagne Mall mentioned above. Little stock, pricey
www.kwaiyanwatch.com 688 Nathan rd, Mong Kok, Kowloon

MACAU
There’s about 30 shops, just east of the old Lisboa Casino and few more across from the Star World.
Prices similar to HK. Figure on a 15% discount from the label. Not that many steel diver Sub types there – tons of glitzy, gold, diamond-studded bling stuff if that’s what you’re after. Macau is bigger than Vegas (in $ gambled) and I guess there's lots of rich Mainlander who didn't do well at the tables.

Jumping in, and first post, but what's the Hk rrp of brand new sub LN? Assume no issues with availability?

I live in shanghai, and price here is an eye-watering rmb 60,700!
