Fresh service
I just had my 7 year old Titanium PO serviced. The entire experience was smooth and effortless. They sent me out a prepaid, insured box to send it to Miami. I had a web link to a status page during the entire process. The watch has come back looking like it did brand new. The watchmaker dialed it in perfectly; perfect time keeping on the wrist. I put it on a timegrapher and the delta of the rate is 2.5 spd. Spectacular!! My brand new Rolex Sea Dweller delta is 4 spd, and a brand new Rolex Explorer 2 is 7.5 spd. The 8500 movement is a precision workhorse. The seven years on the wrist before service, it kept a consistent +1.5 spd.

Fresh service
Wow, I am not surprised to hear that of the 8500. Very solid and precise movement. Congrats on your Titanium PO. Gorgeous watch. Enjoy it!

Sent it to Omega Service Center in Miami. It took about six weeks, even with COVID delays.

I bought the 1st PO my Omega AD received back in 2005. Wore it daily and serviced it after 10+ years. I was fortunate to run into a local watchmaker who was Omega trained on the Co-Axial movement service. Cost me not too much surprisingly, he even took pictures of the movement ... If you guys in the SF Bay Area and looking for a watchmaker let me know

Very cool. I called RSC about sending in my Tudor GMT for warranty repair and they wouldn't even send me a box or prepay the shipping. Considering the watch was malfunctioning I wasn't pleased.
Sounds like Omega actually cares about customer service. Awesome watch by the way! Let's see a pic |
