There is a concept called "token-gated commerce" starting to emerge, where your buying experience is based on what is currently in your digital wallet (i.e., what pieces you already own, how long you have had them). Watch brands finally shifted direct-to-consumer away from ADs, and this is the next step:

As a Lange owner, I want more people to come enjoy the brand, but don't want inventory to get flipped exclusively by dealers (a collector is different).

All this sucks, but the worst news I got in this thread is that Steven was banned. Sad to see it, he was a great guy.

US are non Wempe from memory. A lot of them are momobrand stores, Lange website gives details on who runs them.

As an FYI with VC it is very way to tell which stores are Monobrand v Richemont. You'll also likely find a resident watch makers in the Richemont bouqitues as an

The partial flaw with that is the records are only as a good a the brand or service history.

Say I've bought 3 Lange's directly in the last 24h months all registered. I then have 3 watches their boutiques have seen and ordered things for but not services & 5 pieces I've spoken about but never brought in for service or showed them. ( Other 8 not bought direct i.e forums / auctions)

Should I be classed as a new buyer with 3 or a legacy buyer with over 8 years of brand history?

Buy yes blockchain will be playing a big part at the higher end for consumers in all luxury segments, not just watches.
