Need Help Breaking the AP Code
Pun intended. Looking to acquire my first AP either domestically or abroad on a readily available model. I noticed this 3 hand AP Code 11.59 has 2 reference numbers. They are:
https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/e...A002CR.01.html Model - 15210OR.OO.A002CR.01 (US Website) and https://www.bucherer.com/uk/en/watch...331-700-3.html Model - 15210OR.OO.A001VE.01 (UK site) Seems to be the same reference/model but the 2nd to last series of numbers are different. Does the CR vs VE simply signify different regional markets? Naturally if there aren't any differences, I'm going with the lowest price available at a reputable dealer. Thanks in advance! |

I’m guessing the website from bucherer listed the wrong ref number. You can write in to clarify

I've only seen VE on the Remaster... assuming VE means calfskin? AP does make calfskin straps for Codes as an add-on, but I've never seen a Code with a calfskin strap from the factory Good luck on the hunt |

Appreciate the reply, I think your explanation of the strap material makes a lot of sense. Perhaps the Bucherer simply came with a factory calfskin strap vs gator. Hunt is on! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
