US price increase in Feb?

I have read on another forum that there may be a price increase in Feb here in the US. I'm not too far away from another purchase and would hate to be a few weeks BEHIND an increase. Does anyone know if the Feb increase is true or perhaps Rolex always issues new US prices in Feb. Thanks.

They go up about once a year, usually around this time. I have yet to see the prices ever go backwards.

Think you will have to wait till pigs start flying to see that happen.

Either that, or when monkeys fly out of my butt.

The last couple/few years the price increase has gone into affect around Valentine's Day in the US. Mid Feb. But not all models increase and not all at the same rate.

Do not know if Rolex will follow suit this year too, but I am betting they will.

Some advice, if you want a watch and it may need to be ordered, put in the order ASAP. Nothing worse than having the funds but not able to get the watch before the price increase.

I read on the other forum (WWF) that Omega prices are going up by a whopping 10% in Feb. Don't know about Rolex though. Time to go cleavage hunting!!!

There are only three things for certain in this world: Death, Taxes, and an annual Rolex price increase.

Four things Ed... You forgot the JJ promise, i.e. "This is a keeper, I'll never part with it," and then it gets flipped.

You are absolutely correct, John. How silly of me to forget that one.

Since an anchor drags along the bottom, slowing a ship down, I would say Ed is more precise, JJ.

Price Increase

I just got off the phone with my AD. I am trying to get a ladies model for my other half. My AD confirms there is going to be a price increase in Feb. I don't know if they are trying to get me to buy now or what.

My AD said to expect one in Feb. If I recall that's when the last one was.

I have been told by a local AD here in the Philly area that there will NOT be a price increase in February 2006. However, I don't know this store very well, so I am taking this with a grain of salt.
