Hey KCChief: Welcome to TRF.
I hope you enjoy Finland as much as I did [Helsinki]. Only trouble I found was their hospitality always seemed to revolve around high speed drinking of their 'Rocket Fuel' WOW!

Thanks! I am looking forward to it. I will also be spending a few days in St. Petersburg and maybe Estonia. What do you mean by "Rocket Fuel?" Although not an alchoholic by society standards, I do like to drink. Is "Rocket Fuel" some sort of alchohol? I am really looking forward to the Russian vodka!

The ExpII is 1mm smaller than the GMT, thanks to the semi-sloping bezel. The flanging or teeth on the GMT bezel makes up the difference in size, since the two watches share everything except for the bezel and dial.

However...Rolex advertises the Exp. II as 40mm. Why would they do that if it is 39mm?

Good question, KC....I've often wondered that myself. The fact is, it does feel a wee bit smaller on the wrist as compared with the other sports Rollies....but it sure as hell is one of the most comfortable Rollies out there!! Time for a white sweater shot, I guess!!

Hey RockRolex:
That's one fab GMT!
I have the same except with RED/Black bezel. I am beginning to like the ALL BLACK better. Looks more professional.

Gotta a find a swap bezel soon.

Thanks, Tardis. If you've perused my posts here you know that the all black GMT is my favorite watch. Get that black bezel on yours ASAP. You won't regret it.
