Icon20 Help! Rolex Authenticity Check

Hello Rolex friends, I'm looking into purchasing my first Rolex watch. I have seen several watches Rolex DateJust that I like and I'm wondering if they are authentic or not.

Can someone please help?

I'm pretty sure the last one is real. Just no sure about the other ones. I know it may be a hassle but could someone check out the links so I can at least know which dealers are are selling authentic Rolex watches?

I know I shouldn't buy from eBay but I am a believer in the fact that not all of the watches are fake.

Thanks in advance

As as brand new member, you appear to have joined TRF solely to ask members to authenticate a watch for you, a little rude I think. You'd be better off introducing yourself, and familiarizing yourself with the nature of the forums first. We're a community, not a help service.

Wow Cary, is that really 543 posts since March?
You'll make moderator status in a few weeks.

Wow.. You really don't have to be so harsh. I just came trying to get some help. Just because I may have registered to find help purchasing a watch doesn't mean I won't contribute. I can't contribute to what I don't know. I would love to be a member who's first post was about my new Rolex and giving feedback on my experience but unfortunately that isn't the case right now. I'm just looking for help so I don't make a mistake. I'm sorry if somehow you feel offended by my post but I didn't know it was wrong for me to just come right out and ask for help.

I did what I seen on most post and looked at feedback and some where really outstanding. I read Beckertime was a trusted seller from one of these threads.

Are any of those links legit Rolex?

I would try to purchase from a seller on here but there's just seems to be a larger pool of choices on eBay even if half are fake. Plus my cash is limited to Under $3k on a Rolex.

All luxors watches are crap, fake bands and gold plated two tone bands what rubbish. All the dials are counterfeit and frowned upon here they are refinished and with aftermarket diamonds. Becker times is better, real band but still fake dipal and aftermarket sapphire crystal. Aftermarket bezels with diamonds also on many you are looking at. You should just buy an all original plain Rolex, you cannot get authentic Rolex diamonds on a watch in your price range. Look here in the for sale section or can the diamond idea and look again on eBay and ask the seller if it's All original including the band. Only buy from a big watch seller on eBay never an individual. Hope this helps Regards

Ps. I would only consider buying one watch you posted links for and it's ended.

I've been a member going on three years, and this will only be post 399 for me, but having watched for longer than three years, I feel this community is much more welcoming that one member seems to suggest. Even if one has accumulated more than 500 posts in only three months, that doesn't mean someone can speak for others. What seems rude to me is to judge a person's motives at the outset with relatively little on which to form an opinion.

There are many fine people on TRF who always are very welcoming to new members, regardless of what happens to bring them to the forum to post for the first time. I have seen many different reasons that people join, and your entrance does not seem rude to me in any way. Welcome to the forum. I hope you will stick around. If you do, I'm sure you will enjoy your stay. And good luck with your first Rolex purchase. You will enjoy it, I am sure.

ss3walkman, just my opinion but DO NOT buy your first watch from e-bay, you are looking at problems you can't even imagin or dream up......

Spend some time here in TRF looking at models, dials, etc and getting to know who is a trusted seller. Once you gain some knowledge you will buy your first watch from a trusted TRF seller, not E-bay....

Id have doubts about an 18KT in your price range..Up it by a couple of grand and you'll have better luck...- Just my $.02...!
