Rolex box or fake?
Hi
I have some doubts about the authenticity of an outer box. I have never seen this specific pattern before but perhaps it exist? Its said to be to a 16600 from 2001, can any one help me by telling 1. Is it a genuine rolex box or is it a copy 2. if its correct for the watch Thanks in advance //Max |

What are the numbers on the actual box, the pattern does exist as a Rolex design

Crown, does it really exist like that? In my world the only box looking slightly like it is this:
Its a sales post so I do not have any number of the box, but have you seen both patterns or is it this pattern you are thinking of? I would say as Springer that its a fake, but are happy to learn so please prove me wrong! Best regards Max |

As John pointed out that box(first pic) is a counterfeit box. I see them around all the time. The colors are all wrong the design on the front is all wrong and the crown and Rolex are usually in the wrong location. The inner box is also usually made kind of upside down as the deep part is on the wrong side and the inner pad is much darker than the real one.
