Exactly I love my OF and I worry less about the softness of gold with this one

Yes, I noticed they’re black sleeves but on my dd40 it is white.
Felt much easier to resize

I have the OF one on my list at my AD. It would be my first YG that would be added to the mix. (In PM I have WG Sub 11 series and a TT Root beer) I don't think I could do a full YG bracelet. I agree its a great looking watch but gut it is just to much YG for me for as daily in the mix watch. The OF to me is much more of a sport look even in PM YG. It's all just personal preference for sure.

I like it on OF . . . right now! But in five years? I wonder how I would feel about a plastic bracelet as it ages and tastes change. Gold seems a safer bet but it does look simply stunning—aesthetically—on the OF when brand new.

How long has Rolex been using the OF bracelet?

IMO no comparison between rubber and gold.

100% gold bracelet.

That is a statement watch.

If you don’t go for the bracelet, get alligator leather and not oyster flex for that particular watch.

I think the OF is sportier and a better daily wearer, so I would go with that. An added bonus is the glide lock is going to give you a perfect fit.

I just lament the loss of the red chrono hand...what were you thinking, Rolex?

The OP is referring to the fact that previously the 116508 (yellow gold Daytona on a bracelet) differed from the other PM Daytonas including the 116518 (YG on a strap/oysterflex) in that it utilised the asymmetric case design of the SS/TT Daytonas.

The 126508 now utilises the symmetrical, 1mm larger case design

I’m glad they haven’t.

I think YG or RG on full bracelet looks tacky with a black ceramic bezel. That CE bezel only works with white metals (steel, WG, PT) when you have a full bracelet.
