114060 or 116610LV

I am new, I am here to gather some advises form your expertise.

Which model should go for, 114060 or 116610LV?
What I like abt LV is it color, unique and it grow in me and 114060 is the simple look which I really love it.

Thanks for your sharing.
The Price different seem a lot, could this due to market demand or the quality build?

If you like a clean look go with the 114060.

The build quality is the same. You will get a watch that should out live you.

The reason for the price difference is the date feature. Rolex has about a $1000 upcharge for it - just compare the 114060 and the 116610.

The other reason I believe is the materials that go into making the dial and bezel of the green sub are more expensive than that of the regular black sub.

If you want a black face SS submariner definitely the 114060 can't be beat (classic and clean) but if you want a little color in your collection then consider the LV.

Facing the same dilemma- do like the Green, but not to wear everyday

LOL Get Both!
Just kidding of course. You really cant go wrong with either one. I have found that many serious Rolex watch enthusiasts prefer the No date Submariner for its clean symmetrical look. While i believe the green sub will hold or appreciate better in the long run, the Classic 114060 gets my vote. Cheers and best of luck.

Get the Green. It stands out more in the sea of Black Subs.

will the green one day go out of fashion? i am not sure.

but the black has been tested and proven over decades to be an enduring choice.

Hi kohym,

Thank you for sharing.

Do you have any idea the price different between these 2 models?

Pric difference is £1K so around $1.6K. I have a black subc but will sell it to buy another watch and I plan to buy the Hulk after that.

I got LV last week. Dazzling. The dial is made of 18k gold with a paint t of green
That's why it's 500$ over LN
