Icon11 Sea-dweller bracelet

Hello folks,

New to the forum and recently inherited my uncles sea-dweller that I've admired since I knew what a watch was. My question is to you, that the bracelet is fairly worn due to my uncle using it how it should have been and wearing 24/7 as a engineer.

Are there still replacements available if so do you have an idea on price as I can't find anything apart from one on eBay for £5k.

What are my options with this besides a hideous rubber one?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I cant seem to find anything online.

Regards Dom

Welcome to the forum Dom. Sorry to hear about your uncle.

Do you have a picture of the watch? Sounds like a 60’s or 70’s reference?

Have a look at the blades of the clasp of the bracelet. It should have a reference number, like 9315(not available), 93150, 93160 etc. depending on the age of the Sea Dweller.
As far as I know, most older bracelets can still be bought from an authorized dealer. I would guess at a price of about 1000 to 1500 UKP.

Oh, pictures would be nice.

Depending upon the condition of the bracelet it can also be reconditioned. As others have mentioned, pictures would help.

Bracelet on Seadweller.

Depending on year it is not that bad to have Rolex replace it. You send the watch to them and they give you a quote on replacement and the option of doing it. I did this with my Wife's old Datejust a few years ago. They will not sell you a new one, without trading in the old one.
