The more I see the TT daytonas with light coloured dials the more I wonder why so many of us are so crazy over the SS model (perhaps its the hunt)

Beautiful watch, got more pics?

That's what I've been saying all along!! The TT is so beautiful, especially with that grey dial. But I think the readability on that dial too will be difficult.

In most light, it's easier for me to read than my black dial SS Daytona.

It's a case of getting used to it, JJ - when I got my Seiko chrono with the skeleton hands, it took me a week to get the hang of it, but after that I could read it at a glance.

Duno JJ. It doesn't look like that dial would be that hard to read.

100% agree with you Rodger for anyone to pay these ridiculous grey market prices for a S.Steel. When they can get the TT for around the same as the over inflated grey market price for a SS. Must have a few bats in the belfry,or sixpence short of a shilling.

My only concern on the TT Grey dial is the readability also, However, I asked my AD about his customer feedback on that model.
He said it was very good and has actually had a gentleman change the dark dial to the grey because he found the grey easier to read.
Seems odd to me, but that's what I was told.
I think the TT Daytona is moving up on my wish list.

Agreed, James, but while I've had my Crosswind for almost a month now, readability is still a nightmare for me. There is absolutely no contrast between the hands and the dial...wonder how Breitling could come up with such a combo? And that stopped chrono hand is NOT helping one bit!!

Funny you should ask that, John, but seriously I have had the opportunity to use the Chrono function on a few occasions when I've accompanied my 12 year old grand-daughter, Nairika, on some of her competitive swim meets. I mean, I've not been one of the official time-keepers or anything like that, just did it for my own fun and thought, what the heck, might as well use the Chrono function since I've got it.

My gripe, however, is the readability part of it...too much of a pain!!
