Myself have been wearing Rolex watches for well over 50 years, plus studying the history of the RWC for 60 plus years.

27 years. Got my first SS DJ in 1996 as a present from my wife. Got my 140460m in 2006.
Put it on my wrist the same day as the Atlanta Olympic park bombing, remember the day well due getting my first rolex and hearing the bombing while sitting outside with some friends. |

I was 31 years old, and I decided to take the plunge into Rolex with this 116200 Datejust. Still have it in the collection.

Since 1997 (DateJust).
Got my 16610 in 2001, DJ departed, but the Sub date is still here. Bought a 5513 Mark I Maxi in 2011 and an OP 39 in 2017. A platinum DD came and went. Now lost interest in acquiring any other contemporary Rolex. Vintage Rolex still interests me. Grand Seiko is what I'm looking towards now, FWIW. |

Since 1996 for me, my dad gave me a submariner as an early graduation gift from nursing school. He said I know you can do it. He also pushed me down the slippery slope... thanks dad.
