Exactly, and that's why I said that, even the big one looks small/odd on your wrist to me. I think that's why a watch with a more characterful, distinct appearance, like your VC, would probably be better.

Go santos and you won’t go back.
If you want it to look More elegant go medium. More sporty go large. It’s a stunning piece. |

Breguet in a different league, especially the dial, case and movement finishing - I love my Marine, a very underrated brand and timepiece and whisper it….still a bargain pre-loved. Here is mine

I agree, it looks like you are wearing your wife’s watch. I actually had the same issue with the santos.
You can try the large santos with a green/ blue dial, which don’t look as big/ present on the wrist from a glance. |

Just picked up the watch. It is stunning, love at first sight. I tried all sizes both ss and two tone from Cartier but didn’t liked how they fit me.

Also a positive looks like you got the shorter rubber strap version. They have one thats 10mm (I think) longer and its a little long the one you have is the perfect size for 95% of wrists. Also speaking of the strap an underrated feature is how great the metal strap keepers are such a small but fantastic detail one of many with this watch.
