I’d be angry, too. I’m not trying to say you shouldn’t be upset.

The $900 they’ve offered you is extremely generous for the damage done. Accept it, continue to enjoy a great timepiece, and time will assist in letting this frustration go.

Agree with this. Hell I've had worse done to my watches at ADs, but I knew I'd simply add to the scratches over the years anyway so I didn't worry about it. As long as it's not visible, I think $900 is a heck of a good deal on your end.

You should see how the AD butchered my bracelet screws while adjusting my Datejust 41. Ugghh.
