FS: 1968 Tudor Submariner - 7016/0 Rose Dial
Hi all,
For your consideration is this magnificent 1968 Tudor 7016/0 Rose Dial Submariner. I have never seen a watch of this vintage with such thick lugs and crisp factory bevels! The case is absolutely stunning and appears to be unpolished. The numbers are clearly legible on both sides of the case. The semi-pointed crown guards set this watch apart from many other vintage Tudor subs. The original fat font insert has faded to a satin gunmetal grey that really stands out. The original T19 superdome crystal is nearly flawless. The twin lock crown was replaced during a prior service with an early triple lock crown. The original rose dial shows signs of aging and may have been relumed at some point. The movement runs fairly well but the last service date is unknown, so it could likely use a service. The watch is offered on a newer 78360 Rolex bracelet with 580 end pieces. The bracelet is very tight and in fantastic shape. For the discerning Rolex/Tudor collector, this could make a great daily wearer or something to ad to the collection. Feel free to PM me or email me at greg.petronzi@gmail.com with inquiries. If you would like this in time for Christmas, I can overnight it anywhere in the CONUS fully insured. Bank Wire transfer only. References available on request. Asking $4400 USD. Best, Greg
